Design of an app dedicated to a fictional cat café, inspired by areas for improvement we observed during our outings with friends.
For this project, my intention was to create a warm and easy-to-use application. Having chosen the cat bar as the theme, I also wanted to create a fun and gentle interface. I used a color palette consisting of browns, greens, and pinks. Browns are predominant to make the app feel warm; they also evoke coffee. I used green for the main buttons because they provide a strong contrast, which is ideal for colorblind users. Finally, the secondary buttons are pink, as this color attracts more attention. To make the app cuter, I rounded all the corners, both on the screen and on the buttons. I also created a mascot (the snake cat) to make the app easily recognizable. It also can “move across the screens.”
